I was elected Village Trustee in 1988. I was then appointed Village President in 1991 when the President at that time resigned. I have run in our Village elections since then and have been elected. In 2000 I chose not run as I felt I needed a break. I did serve as Trustee again from 2004 to 2008. In 2008 I decided I would like to run again for President and was elected at that time. I think my experience makes me a good candidate.
